Is it possible to change my Student Visa to Ausbildung Visa

I am currently a Student in a FH with an Aufenthaltstitel under a student visa i believe. But I have decided to change my activity to an Ausbildung. Is it possible to change from a student visa to an Ausbildung visa? I presume i would need to get a Zulassung from the institute, where i’ll be doing the Ausbildung first to extend/change my visa? And i would also assume that it is possible according to https://***.wefugees.de/814093/can-i-change-my-student-visa-to-ausbildung-visa. If it is possible, what are the possible requirements/documents that i need to provide? Danke im Voraus

Yes, in general it should be possible to change your residence permit according to 16b (student visa) to one according to 16a (apprenticeship/vocational training). Did you actually see my colleague's answer in this thread, in which Christine is giving important information on the necessary steps? She also highlights that you should be careful not putting your current residence permit at risk in the meantime.

I think it is the best to contact the immigration office (Ausländerbehörde) directly in order to understand the exact documents they will require from you - but for an orientation you may see Berlin's immigration office's website and their list of requirements.
