I am a rejected asylum seeker and my German girlfriend is pregnant - what to do next?

I am an asylum seeker in Germany and I have been rejected 2 times and the auslander took my Auswiess and change it to one month duldung every month I have to renew my auswiess and they ask me to bring my passport from the Nigerian embassy which I have summited the my appointment date to the auslander but I have a German girlfriend and she is pregnant for me, what do I do next? Please I need advice

Hi annypat, please i will like to ask you a question, how did you got your Nigerian Passport, did you submitted any documents to the Nigerian Embassy in Berlin? Please help me, i want to apply for my Nigerian Passport but i don't know if i need some additional documents to do it from the Embassy, i tried calling them but they aren't picking up. Please can you explain the process a little for me

Welcome to the Wefugees community and thank you for your question.

Even if you are not married to your German girlfriend, it is possible for you to get a residence permit through your child. You need to get a so-called "Aufenthaltsgestattung zur Personensorge" (residence permit to take care of your child). Please check out this thread here on Wefugees where the procedure is explained:
