Dear @Mohammadzai,

Welcome back to the Wefugees Community and thank you for reaching out to us again. As I mentioned in my last answer, the responsibility for your asylum application will be transferred from Austria to Germany after six months of the court rejection. Which means that Germany will assess your application now whether or not you are eligible for protection like a refugee status, subsidiary protection etc.

If you didn't have your big "interview" (Anhörung) at the BAMF yet, I highly recommend to prepare for this one very well. You may contact a so-called "Asylverfahrensberatung" (asylum procedure counselling) or a general refugee counselling office to get some support. If you finished your interview already, you have to wait for the BAMF's decision now. In case they reject your application, you may consider to appeal against the decision. In this case, I also recommend to get some legal advice by a lawyer or an experienced counselling office.

I hope this helps and please don't hesitate to get back to us with any further questions.

All the best,

Meike
