I learnt that appeal cases shouldn't surpass 16 months during which the BAMF should take action on.

Hello @Delman

Welcome to the Wefugees community and thank you for your question.

May I ask how long you've been waiting since you filed an appeal? German bureaucracy is not the fastest in the world, so you have to be patient. Also, keep in mind that BAMF first of all checks whether they will grant you a second procedure or not. Only if they agree on giving you a second procedure, you will be invited for another hearing. They will send you a letter explaining their decision before anything else happens.

Best regards,

Thorgen
