Hallo,
I got married with German citizen in Denmark this year. Our marrige certificate already legalized by Danish goverment and I would like to apply for my German permit residence but the Auslanderamt said they need to get approval for my marrige certificate by the Standesamt first but the Standestamt not acceptable my Danish marrige certificate. The Standesamt didn't tell me what is the reason why they didn't accepted. All my documents and visa already in the right track. I really don't know what I have to do. Please kindly give me feedback about my case.

Thank you so much.

Most marriages done in Dänemark by non EU couples or one EU and one Non EU  resident is no longer acceptable, at least to my knowledge,  its said the foreign national will have to be resident in Dänemark or one of both Parties. They are trying to Check for scam marriages since many of who were caught had there marriages done in Dänemark.  Make more findings
