My friend requested to be redistributed from stuttgart to Nidersachsen to the the daughter he is raising.
The Auslander Behorde in stuttgart already requested the Authority in Nidersachsen to move him close to the family Member in Nidersachsen and he is waiting for the decision.
1.How long does the receiving authority take before accepting the request?
2.What are the chances if he is joining family Member or under age child?
3.What are his chance if he moving to nidersachsen in a small village with no apartment or any job offer?

1. The processing time for redistribution requests can take up to several months, depending on the number of requests.

2.He has good chances on the ground of family reunion to the underage child. It is regulated in the law.

3. It depends on his status in Germany. If he have already worked and has asylum or Aufenthaltstitel, he can maybe turn to the Jobcenter and apply for securing livelihood, that means to get state support. He has to search a job alone.
