Dear Moderator,

A friend was granted a Residence Permit 25 abs 2 Subs in Germany. She wants to know if she is allowed to visit her home country without any consequences later from Foreign Office .

I do hope to read your expert opinions. Thank you in advance.

Dear @Progress84

Welcome to the Wefugees community and thank you for sharing your question.

In general, people with subsidiary protection don’t need to face negative consequences in Germany, when they travel to their country of origin.

It is different for people who are recognized as refugees and hold a “blue passport”.

However, I can not guarantee, that once the BAMF invites you for another interview to check, if you are still in danger in your home country and they learn that you travel there frequently, they might be irritated and get doubts.

Would you agree @mbeon-Sophie or @mbeon-Christine

All the best,

Meike

Hello Ola,

You are welcome

If your friend has  the blue passport, entry into your home country is not possible. This passport is valid for all countries except the home country.
