Here you can ask, answer and find questions surrounding the topic: arriving in Germany
So I'm a Syrian refugee, and I'm planning on visiting Lebanon, for the situation that I am in where I don't have a Syrian passport, I'll need to use the Reisepass, so the question is: what do I need to do to do that?

I have tried to contact the embassy through email and phone calls, and apparently they don't answer either.
Does anyone have any other source of info?
Or does anyone know how to do that?

Dear @Leonidas

thank you for sharing your question with the Wefugees Community!

I assume that as a refugee you have a blue passport for refugees? Please correct me when I am wrong. With this passport you can basically travel to almost all states within Europe without a visa (so called Schengen-States). For states other than these states you might still be allowed to travel there, but you need a visa. Please keep in mind that a refugee should not travel back to his/her home country because it could lead to legal problems with the refugee status in Germany.

For Lebanon you need a visa issued by the Lebanese Embassy in Germany.

I found this information on the Website of the Lebanese Embassy in Germany: http://www.libanesische-botschaft.info/index.php/en/consular-services/visa#▪-through-the-embassy

If you click on "through the embassy" there you find a form for the visa application and also a leaflet with all the information you need for the visa application in English. Please keep also in mind that it could happen that the Embassy rejects your visa application.

I hope this answer was helpful! Please don´t hesitate getting back to us if you have more questions!

Best

Melina
