Hi Wefugees, I have Just been given Negative on my asylum application in Germany, I am married to a German woman in Germany 2 months ago in May 2019. Do I appeal the asylum rejection or stick with my marriage ? I’m I eligible to get a resident permit through my marriage? My wife is working I am also working but she earn more than I do. What do I do from here? Appeal my asylum or apply for resident permit with my marriage certificate if that’s possible? Thanks

@markNiv, you don't your Asylum again since you are married.. didn't you tell them about ur marriage on the day of ur asylum interview? Well, u and ur wife can go to Ausländerbehörde and apply for residence permit. Do u live in the same city with ur wife?

Hi Thanks for your response, I had my asylums in 2017 and I was called for another interview in September 2018 but my Mrs and I just got married May 2019. I just got the Negative decision on asylum last week. So,
I’m not sure if I should appeal my asylum or what to do? My wife and I live together and both working. Thanks
Hi Thanks for your response, I had my first asylum interview in June 2017 and I was called for another interview in September 2018 but my Mrs and I just got married May 2019. I just got the Negative decision on asylum last week. So,

You are only living together with ur wife on ur own not official.. you have to take a lawyer to withdraw ur asylum first then apply for residence permit. Are you guys in Bayern?
Does ur wife stays in ur asylum city too? If yes or No the lawyer will first of all apply for ur transfer to ur wife officially before applying for the residents permit. What was the result of ur negative? Where u asked to live the country?
Yes my wife stays in my city and she applied for me to move in with her which was just  granted and few days later I received a letter from BAMF that my asylum has been refused.
... I was given 7 days to appeal or leave Germany within 30 days otherwise I’ll be deported back to Nigeria
My broda, did u tell dem on the day of ur asylum interview about ur marriage? What city are you in Germany? Take a good Lawyer and apply for residence permit through marriage.
Yea I told them about my Mrs during my interview but we wasn’t married at the time. We in Stuttgart.
