Dear @Haidar Ali,

Welcome to the Wefugees community and thank you for your question!

Anyone with an Aufenthaltsgestattung in Germany is able to obtain a drivers licence. I've had a look and there are some driving schools that offer classes in English! As far as I understand it, you can also make the theory test in English (or other languages). But in order to find out more, you can research "English driving schools in ____" and enter the name of your city/area (the ones I found were in Berlin). Here's some more information on theory classes and preparation in English:

Regarding your second question, here's a short explanation of the general requirements for obtaining a German Driver's Licence:

Also have a look at this thread for more legal requirements:

If you follow the link that the website provides, there's a list of German drivers licence authorities that you can contact for further information as well!

The duration and charges vary and also depend on the city and region you are in (or how long it takes for you). According to this German website, the drivers licence/ Führerschein costs between €1500-1900: (maybe use Google translator for this one).

There's a list on the website as well showing how much each step can cost.

I hope this information helps. Please feel free to reach out to the community again if you need further assistance.

All the best,
