Hello. Please what could cause the delay for the application for a German settlement permit. An application for a German settlement permit has been made for almost 5months now, but we are yet to receive a letter of collection from the ausländerbehörde. I have written them several times to ask but they kept saying that I should be patient. How long does the application usually takes? Thank you
