I filed the appeal late because I did not receive the rejection letter from the BAMF in time in my hand. Since I lived in a house where there was only one mailbox for 15 people, I did not receive the letter in time.
I also did not have a regular lawyer at that time.
My lawyer at that time. told me he could convince the court to hear my appeal.
Unfortunately, my attorney became ill and is no longer on duty.
Therefore, I changed attorneys after two years of waiting.
My new lawyer, who was just appointed last month, contacted the court and told me that the court has made a decision and my appeal will not be heard by the judge, due to delayed submission.
The final decision on this has not yet been made, but my new lawyer said he is confident that my case has no chance of being heard by the appellate court.
So my question is, since I was not able to file the appeal with no fault of my own, and if the court now decides not to hear my appeal, can't my lawyer file another appeal against that decision?
