Hello Bree Bree and Welcome at Wefugees!

Our platform and our experts are based in Germany. Therefore, we can unfortunately not provide much information about the asylum system and regulations in France. However, I tried to make some research and found a useful brochure (in German though) which provides adresses of supporting NGOs (legal and social counselling) in France. I recommend you to contact a counselling service in your area to get some support and reliable information. Please see this file on page 14 and 15 for the adresses.

The brochure also explains that many aid programmes in France are short-term projects with irregular funding. At the time of the research (October 2018), there were only a few permanent support structures exist. Therefore, they make no claim to completeness. For free legal assistance in France you may check the website here.

I hope this helps and all the best,

Meike
