Dear @Mercy24#,

Welcome to the Wefugees Community and thank you for reaching out to us.

I would highly recommend you to get in contact with a lawyer or a migration/refugee counseling office. Their services (I’m talking about the counseling offices) are free of charge and confidential. Together you should carefully elaborate if an asylum application is the right way for you (and you actually have a chance to get accepted) or if there might be a better and more promising option. An asylum application may come with many obligations and restrictions (such as the obligation to live in a reception center etc.) as well.

I’m afraid that we can not provide tailored legal advice here since every case needs to be assessed on an individual basis.

I hope you understand this. However, please don’t hesitate to get back to us with further questions or if you need help with finding such an office close to your current location.

All the best,

Meike
