My partner was on the 18 month Chancenaufenthaltserlaubnis 104c and had fulfilled all the requirements to move to a 25b. We got married and instead of the 25b, they moved on to a family member of EU citizen residence permit. I now want to leave the country and we may divorce, but we have been married for less than 3 years. Is it possible for them to move back to the original route and switch to a 25b. They have full time employment, but I don't think it fulfills the requirements for a skilled employment visa. Effectively am I trapped here for another year or so until they have independent right to reside without me or is it possible to jump to 25b from anything other than 104c or a Duldung?
