Hi @Mr.H
I do not understand what you mean by being at first alone. Do you mean you had your own room in the first reception centre (Erstaufnahmeeinrichtung) before being transferred to the Heim? Or that you had your own apartment?
You can make an application to be housed away from the Heim in an apartment from the Sozialamt. This application is called ‘Antrag auf dezentrale Unterbringung’ or ‘Antrag auf Unterbringung in einer Einzelunterkunft‘. There is no particular form you have to use but this organisation has an example of such a form:

Please note that the rules around accommodation for asylum seekers are not exactly the same throughout Germany. The above example is from the state of Thüringen so you have to adapt it to whatever region you are in.
Private accommodation is generally only allowed for people who are considered especially vulnerable. These include elderly people, single parents, pregnant women, LGBT individuals, people with medical conditions or who have experienced torture or violence. If you do not fall into the category of especially vulnerable, then it is unlikely you can move. It’s still worth trying in that case but you should provide detailed reasons for wanting to move. In your application, detail your study hours, any lack of place to study (e.g. no study room in the Heim or library nearby), and the disturbance to your studies that you experience (how many people share with you, the hours they come and go, the noise etc.). I advise against basing your argument on your roommate having a ‘different culture’.
There will be social workers in the Heim or who come there regularly who can assist you with an application.
Best,
Éanna
