Hello wefugee team, thank you all for the great work here . My question is,  a friend of mine applied for naturalization with her two children in Germany but was rejected and according to her,  her lawyer has taking the case to court and  below is what she received from the court as the case is still going on in the court but she wants to know if there's any progress or hope due to the reply from the court because her lawyer suit the the Einbürgerungsbehörde for 10,000 EUR but when it got to the court, the court made it 30,000 EUR

Kopp/Schenke, VwGO, 29. Aufl. 2023, § 62 Rn. 3 m.w.N. in Fn. 7).

  Mit freundlichen Grüßen.

My question is,  is there any chance of her  winning the case ? Thank you.

Dear @Denny28,

Welcome back to the Wefugees Community and thank you for being such an active member.

Actually, from the passage you pasted above and the little background information, it is not recognizable how the case's chances are (especially since we are no lawyers). It is just mentioning the so-called "Streitwert" (value in dispute: The costs and fees that arise in the course of a legal or out-of-court dispute are based on the significance, i.e. the weight of the dispute - the so-called value in dispute. The amount in dispute can be set or estimated by the court or determined by legal regulations.), the obligation to inform the court at any time in case the address of the petitioner is changing and to explain about the legal respresentatives of the children within 3 weeks (i.e. if your friend has the sole custody, if I understand correctly).

I highly recommend to consult the lawyer she hired with any questions.

All the best,

Meike
