I am an asylum seeker receiving money from Sozialamt and I want to know if I can get the costs for the translation for my foreign documents covered because I want to do an Ausbildung. Which authority would be responsible for this?

Hi, you will need to submit your documents to the responsible office (Bundesland )in which your Ausbildung will take place.
You can contact them and from there on they tell you what all the requirements.
I know when it comes to translations of documents no office from Social will assist since its a personal issue.

No authority is responsible for this. But you can sure talk to Diakonie or other organizations, they might find a way to support you

I asked jobcenter about it, since i want tto do it to get an ausbildung but im not sure. i havent heard of Diakonie before
I will share my experience with you. My certificates are in English. No translation were necessary. A lawyer just put some notarized seal on the photocopy. It was accepted by the Ausbildungs Firma and also by the school. Vocational schools are way more relaxed and flexible than Universities. Don’t worry about it. Just find a employer, they will take care of the rest.
The ausbildungs i want to pursue (pflegefachfrau/erzieherin) almost always have the anerkennung required on the job listing, only one of my documents is in english. the others are all in a different language :( so i feel like its a must
Hi. I want to apply for fachkraft lagerlogistik ausbildung but in few months l will relocate. Can l continue the same Ausbildung if l happen to relocate to another city? Can l be transferred or l  have to finish only at one specific place? Submition is open now but l have to apply knowing this first. Also can l do Ausbildung part-time as l have to care for my children too?
