Do I need to convert my permit once I arrive in Holland o get some documents so I can work there

Hi @Sandy4344

As I understand it, you have a residence permit as a refugee for five years in Italy. After 5 years you can receive permanent residency in Italy (Soggiornante di Lungo Periodo). You will have to show you can support yourself financially to get this. Once you have permanent residency, it is easier to move to other EU countries and work. With your current permit, you cannot just go to Holland and work. You have to apply for a visa with the Dutch embassy in Rome.
