Can I marry with (Ankunftsnachweis) and my passport in Germany

Hi @Bossbig

Yes, you can marry with an Ankunftsnachweis. The marriage registry office (Standesamt) will require you to provide other documents in order to get married. This varies from country to country but generally a birth certificate, passport and certificate of eligibility to marry are required. Contact your local Standesamt to find out more.

The Standesamt always informs the Auslanderbehörde and you need a valid document mostly passport to get married here. If you did not submit your passport to the ABH but to the Standesamt. They will send your passport to the ABH. Then you have a serious problem to face.
