Kindergeld Anspruch mit Aufenthaltserlaubnis 19d Abs 1.NR.1A.

Question

Does Anyone have any experience about this Aufenthaltserlaubnis,if there is Entitlement to Kindergeld. PLEASE GIVE ME REPLY.
BECAUSE THE FAMILIAKASSE IS JUST NOT STRAIGHTFORWARD WITH MY APPLICATION.
A worker at there office i spoke to said there is No Entitlement to this Aufenthaltserlaubnis 19d.
Then, I called again the other, checked and said yes yes there is.
Like am confused about this answers. Though am waiting for the official feedback from the Familiekasse in written form.
Please who has any good information to this case please share with me..

With Aufenthaltserlaubnis 19d you are entitled to Kindergeld.

The relevant legal basis is paragraph 62, section 2 of the ‘Einkommenssteuergesetz’:

That section lists certain types of residence permits that do not give an entitlement for Kindergeld. For others, such as 19d, there is an entitlement.

If there is any written response from the Familienkasse denying you these entitlements, you just need to refer to this legal basis.

Hallo Éanna, Thanks very much for the wonderful Research and informative articles.
I haven't received any Written Response from the Familiekasse yet,  but they said in 2- 3 weeks I will get a feedback.  But I made this application since May 2023. So am waiting for there feedback.

Just a little patience in kindergeld if u apply already and give all the necessary documents there will be no problem but probably it will take longer 12-16 weeks but they will pay all the months that missed they will send a letter about this and that and boom it will be in your account..
