Dear @Areesha,

Welcome to the Wefugees Community and thank you for reaching out to us.

We had a very similar question on this platform before and you may want to check the information my colleague gave here.

This website might also help you to get more information on claiming asylum in Canada:

However, please don't hesitate to get back to us with any further questions.

All the best,

Julia

Hi Areesha,
The German Asylum system and the Canadian Asylum system have nothing in common, therefore absolutely nothing is stopping from applying for asylum in Canada if you can.
You don't need permission from Germany before applying for Asylum in Canada.

Thank you and good luck.
