Dear Salome Mkota,

Thank you for reaching out to us again and I am sorry to hear that you currently have to deal with so many issues.

I agree with @Muffy: when you are holding a Duldung, you are entitled to asylum seeker benefits (Asylbewerberleistungen) which cover necessary medical treatments as well. In that case, usually the local "Sozialamt" (names vary across Germany though) is responsible for you and your basic life expenses. As Muffy already mentioned, I would nevertheless highly recommend you as well to contact a counselling office in your area. I am sure they can support you in your situation. Don't worry, their services are confidential and free of charge. If you want to share with us your approximate location, I can make some research regarding adresses and contact details.

All the best,

Meike

Hello,

Congratulations on the birth of your child, and sorry that you gave birth to her through cs.

To your enquiry, firstly why are you illegal in Germany especially when you are expecting a baby?

Even with a Duldung, the State would have cover the expenses, as it is now, you need to **** out for NGOs that can bail you out like CARITAS, DIAKONISCHES, or FRAUEN organization for women.

Am sure there will be a way out for you.

Goodluck.

I got pregnant  while I was illegal.my visa was not extended  and before everything  was closed due to corona but the immigration  don't recognize  that..so gave birth while I was still illegal coz I had no duldung. My previous  lawyer  was not informed  with auslander  rights because  he was not an auslander  lawyer.
