please help me with my little problem. today i tried to pickup a delivery from DHL which required an id check. the worker didn't accept my document (Duldung) because the system doesn't support it. contacting customer service didn't help either. the requirements listed by DHL to confirm an id is to have a document with a name, birthdate, photo, all of which is present on Duldung. can anyone tell me what is a legal status of this document and provide a link. thanks.

The person that refuses you to pickup a post with your Duldung is just not being kind and nice.

Your Duldung is the most authenticated identification that you have in Deutschland.

I have seen people that i know personally using their Duldung to collect DHL packages from accredited shops/malls.

Yeah I too had already picked up my packages with Duldung, but there was one specific which required ID confirmation. The woman couldn't or didn't want to scan my Duldung. Anyways, thanks for answering.
