Dear @veerababumanyam,

Welcome to the Wefugees community and thank you for sharing your question!

Without knowing your situation, might the EU-Blue card be an option for you?

A foreigner, a citizen of a non-EU- country, can apply for the EU blue card if
a) he or she has a German or an accredited foreign or a university degree that is comparable to a German one.
b) he or she has a working contract with a gross annual compensation of at least €50.800 (4.134 Euros per month), a contract in the so-called shortage occupation (scientists, mathematics, engineers, doctors and IT- skilled workers) with the amount of €39.624 (3302 Euros per month).

I took the information from this website. You may also want to check this website for more details.

I am IT Architect and in germany for last two years. For One and half year I am in Germany with Work permit. Later, I got full time job(permanent) opportunity in German based company and moved to German company. I got blue card with the german company offer. I am paying social security from the moment I joined German company. My gross salary is more than 80,000 Euros from the day I landed in Germany. I do not have German speaking/language skills. I am looking for options to apply for Permanent residence permit. So, I would like to understand what all the options I have to get the Permanent Residence.

Dear @veerababumanyam

I found this website, which nicely describes the requirements for the permanent residence permit/settlement permit (Niederlassungserlaubnis):

As far as I know, a certain level of at least basic German skills will be necessary for the application.

All the best,
