Hi,
my sister is in Germany since February 2019. She was firstly there on FSJ visa and in September she started ausbildung in 'krankenpflege' and  she got new visa for ausbildung. That visa is valid until September of 2022. This week she found out she is pregnant. Now she is not sure what to do and is there possibility to lose her visa ? Can she pause the ausbildung ? What are her options ?

Thank you in advance, regards.

Hallo
She wont lose her visa and she wont lose her Ausbildung.
She will continue to attend school but she wont be allowed to do Praxis since it would be risky with her pregnancy.
6 or 8 weeks before birth she can stop going to school and 3 months after giving birth.
3 months after she give birth she must return to her Ausbildung or she will be stopped and hence lose her visa!

Tell her to go to her Women doctor and she will be given a letter.
The letter should be given to her employer and insurance company  so that she can continue receiving her salary till she give birth
