What are my chances not to be deported ?
I got a Duldung in September 2019, and am starting my EQ ( Einsteigqualifizierung ) in November that will last till the beginning of my Ausbildung next year August 2020. Please can this EQ protect me from deportation ? Please I need advice because am very scared of deportation.
Also my wife and son Asylum applications are still pending in the court, if so will I be deported without my family?

Dear @Akanadorwisdom

thank you for sharing your question with the Wefugees Community!

In general Germany is not allowed to deport you as long as your family is still in the asylum procedure or their case still pending at court. So you probably don´t have to be scared as long as their procedure did not end with a negative court decision.

Regarding your question about the "Einstiegsqualifizierung": Almost all of the Federal States in Germany decided that if you take part in a Einstiegsqualifizierung that is followed by a Ausbildung the immigration office (Ausländerbehörde) is supposed to give you a Duldung until your Ausbildung. But depending on in which state you live there might be different requirements. Sometimes it is necessary to already have the Ausbildungs-contract and maybe some language skills. The Ausländerbehörde in your district can tell you what they want.

Still, I only have little information about your case. So unfortunately I can´t give you a definite answer. If you are scared of getting deported or just to be sure I would suggest you to see a local counselling center (for free) or check in with your lawyer if you have one and talk to him/her about the risks. There you can tell your whole case and show them documents etc. so they get a better impression on what are the next steps for you, for example if it is smart to talk to the Ausländerbehörde again or maybe not. Via this link you can find a free and trustworthy counselling centre for free:

I hope this answer was helpful. Please don´t hesitate getting back to the Wefugee Community if you have more questions to ask!

All the best & good luck with your Ausbildung next year!
