Here you can ask, answer and find questions surrounding the topic: arriving in Germany
Hi, I'm asylum seeker in Germany i had a rejection two years ago because of Bulgarian fingerprint and asked me to leave Germany in two weeks, after 6 months I received a post from my lawyer and BAMF that i can stay in Germany and the fingerprint no longer will be a problem. I went to auslanderbehörde as usual to renew my Aufenhalgestatung a month ago , surprisingly they gave me three months DULDUNG ausweis because of the fingerprint, is it normal?! Thanks for helping me

Dear @shwan, thank you for sharing your situation with us in the community. As for your question: It is not unsuall that the authorities issue the "Duldung" even if you are in the process of your Asylum procedure. However, your lawyer can change it to the ordinary Aufenthaltsgestattung. The best would be if your lawyer contacts them in written to get a written statement. I hope this could guide you, if you need further assistance please do not hesitate to reach out to the community. Best regards, Nilab
