I am about 2 years in Germany, but my refugee status was rejected. However, I have a job offer from France. Is it possible for me to apply for a visa through the French embassy, or because my application for asylum has been made in Germany, my visa process is also rejected in France?

Hello @josefloyd

Welcome to the Wefugees community and thank you for your question.

Your asylum procedure respectively the Dublin III regulation are not directly related to the visa application procedure. As long as you didn't get deported from Germany - which would result in an entry-ban that is valid for the whole Schengen area - you should be able to get a visa for France in general. But of course you will have to fulfil their requirements in order to get such a visa.

The first step is going to be that French authorities check whether there is a French/European applicant that has a right to get the job you are having an offer for. Only if you get a positive response after this check, you can apply for a visa to get a temporary residence permit.

Unfortunately, I don't speak French so I couldn't find out that much about the procedure. I recommend to get in touch with the French embassy or a consulate general to learn more about it.

Best regards,

Thorgen

The need for a visa is natural. Making it go on your shoulders and the procedure for its registration, you must make through the embassy. They will also give you the necessary list of documents and notify the employer. It would also be a good opportunity to consider other areas for work. In some countries there is no such rigid migration and labor policy. For example, in South Africa, generally simplified requirements.

Regarding the information on simplified points related to a work visa in South Africa, this is true. Jobs, too, really exist and quite promising. Here is a general view of the available vacancies of various specializations https://za.jobsora.***/ . Everything is presented on this site, from the payment to the requirements for applicants.
