Welcome back at Wefugees. As my colleague Éanna was mentioning in his answer on your last question, only the spoken A2 is required for the residence permit according to §25b. Did you you check the results of your last exam properly? Did you fail in "mündlich" (oral) as well? In case, you might want to focus on your speaking skills for the time being and check institutions which offer also A2 oral exams. Maybe a counselling office in your area can help you with this. If the exam date is later than end of October, they might also be able to help you to convince the "Ausländerbehörde" to wait until the appointment.
