What is my fate with Court (rejected asylum) and Ausländeramt if I will be the father of a German child?

Good morning house, please what is my fate, my asylum application was rejected by bamf and my appeal is still pending, last month i signed Vaterschaftsanerkennung and joint Custody with my German girlfriend while my child will born by November what are my chances with Court and Ausländerbehörde, but i has already sent the Vaterschaftsanerkennung and Joint custody to Ausländerbehörde by contact form and Einschreiben Email

Welcome back to the Wefugees community and thank you for reaching out to us again.

The fact that you will be the father of a German child will not affect your chances in the asylum procedure and your appeal. However, you might be entitled to receive a residence permit according to section 28 of the German Residence Act. You did good already taking care of the paternity acknowledgment and the shared custody. This is important as it will be the actual support and care for your child. It’s possible that the immigration office will ask you to do the respective visa process as well though. We discussed this topic i.e. here before.
