How can I convert tourist to work in Germany? I can enter to Germany with permesso d soggiorno of italia.

I have read that if i have a permesso d soggiorno of Italy, i can travel to any schengen countries as tourist for the period of 3 months but i want to work on Germany also, not just tourist. How to apply for work permit?What should I do..Thank you.

Welcome to the Wefugees Community and thank you for reaching out to us.

We discussed similar questions already a few times at this platform. As my colleague explained here, for instance:

"If you have permanent EU residency in Italy (this is called ‘soggiornante di lungo period – CE o UE’), you can enter Germany and apply for a residence permit here.

If you have any other type of permit, you have to first get a visa from the German embassy in Italy."
