I am from afghanistan and I was women activist, I had approval from Germany so I moved Germany, after 1 year of living my husbend Decided we moved to Canada, so I had to come with him Canada because my child was 1 year old and He told me if you don't go I will take my daughter with myself and you can live alone in Germany.
My husbend applied Canadian Refugee travel document for me and my child , so after getting canadian refugee travel document, without visa we could go to germany and I went germany with my daughter because after we moved canada ( my EX boyfriend live in canada ,I was totally disagree to live in canada ) I was living like prison person and doctor told my husbend send her for vocation .
I wanted to ask about my previous Residence permit In Germany I went to Auslenderamt , My residence permit was from 2022 till 2025 so my husbend told me no issue even we moved to Canada you can go and live in germany.
But after asking Information they told me your Residence permit is already expired because you enter germany after 1 year and they told me if you want residence permit seek asylum but I showed them my tickets of returned and they gave me GRENZUBERTRITTSBESCHEINIGUNG , I gived back that GRENZUBERTRITTSBESCHEINIGUNG for border officer and came back to Canada.

Now I want to go back germany for asylum , Iam not sure is that mean Iam entry ban? Or I have no right to Enter back Germany ?
If you please help me.

Hi @Pari

As you have given the Grenzübertrittsbescheinigung to the border officer, then there is no issue. The Grenzübertrittsbescheinigung is sent to the immigration authorities as confirmation that you have left Germany before the deadline given to you. There are no further consequences such as an entry ban.

I am not sure what, if any, effect your refugee status in Canada will have on a future asylum application in Germany. I have tried to find some information on this but could not find anything regarding people who have a refugee status in a non-EU country and then seek asylum in Germany. Within the European Union, the rules are very clear. If a person has received a refugee status in one EU country, an asylum application by them in another EU country will be rejected as inadmissible. I do not see any similar such complication in your case but you will be questioned in detail about having left Germany for Canada when you have your asylum interview.

Thank you for your Information , I want to ask you , Is there any place that I can send Email and ask about any entry ban ?
Iam really too much worried about coming , If I be travel ban and they sent me back from border in airport then I am sure my husbend will not allow me again to go anywhere .
The Embassy of germany in canada advised me to contact German fedral police but Iam not sure about this.
You’re welcome.

From what you have described, you were refused entry to Germany because you did not have a valid residence permit or visa. This would apply to anyone in your case and is different to an entry ban. An entry ban is issued to a particular person for a specific reason. A common case is if a person is deported. They also receive an entry ban and are not allowed to re-enter Germany at all.

At most, you may have an alert about you saved in the Schengen Information System (SIS). Here you can read about what situations cause an alert about someone to be put on the system:

https://home-affairs.ec.europa.eu/policies/schengen-borders-and-visa/schengen-information-system/alerts-and-data-sis_en

If you wish to know what, if any, information is stored about you on the SIS, then you make a written request to the responsible authority in Germany. This is the Bundeskriminalamt (BKA). You can read about requesting information here, in English via online translation:

Thank you for your Information , I really appreciate it.

I asked a lawyer and he sent me a latter that shows , he request information about me as (
 Bundesverwaltungsamt Barbarastraße 150735 Köln ).
Is it the same thing which you mentioned ? Or Its different ?
No, it is not the same thing. It is a different authority. I referred to the 'Bundeskriminalamt' which keeps information on alerts related to the Schengen Information System. I do not know what relevant information can be found at the 'Bundesverwaltungsamt' that your lawyer asked. As far as I know, the 'Bundesverwaltungsamt' only really has a role in assisting German embassies with visa applications. But the letter your lawyer sent you should make it clear what information exactly he has requested there.
