Hi @Nightfury
This is not really my area of expertise but I have looked into it a little. From what I can tell, in certain professions it is possible to do a bachelor degree in a shorter time due to having an Ausbildung in that field.
However, I have only found this offered by private universities where the fees for attending are much higher. Here for example is a third-level institution in Frankfurt where a person can do a bachelor in computer science in 5 semesters if they have an Ausbildung in that area:

Here the example is of someone who studied childcare (Erzieher*in) and then can study a bachelor in social work in a shorter time:

With regards to mechanical engineering, I could only find shortened study time for someone who is a ‘Machinentechniker*in’. I understand this to be an additional qualification (Fortbildung) after having completed the Ausbildung. Here is the example I found (only available in German):

Universities have support offices for people from abroad who wish to study there. They would be better able to answer such a question than I would. I recommend you **** for such an institution that offers a degree in mechanical engineering and either ask the office for international students or directly at the engineering faculty there.
Best,
Éanna
