Dear @Shaheen,

Welcome back to the Wefugees Community and thanks for reaching out to us again.

I hope my answer on your last question regarding the Dublin procedure was useful to you?

After the Dublin period („Überstellungsfrist“/the time slot in which the state is supposed to deport you to the responsible country of first entry) ended, the responsibility for your asylum application will be transferred to the state where you currently reside. I’m not sure if I fully understand your question. But it’s not like you can just freely move around Europe then and “chose” a country for your asylum procedure. Fingerprints may be taken for different purposes as well.

Maybe you make use of the comment function in this thread to specify your question in case you need further information or things are unclear.

All the best,

Meike

I want to know after the end of dublin period does Bamf take fingerprints again to start the asylum process? I think now you understand my question clearly. Thank you very much for your response.
