What can I do about my FRV application ?

I'm from guinea conakry, my wife is ukrainian, currently residing in bremen with our daughter.they have a temporary permit for 2 years and my daughter is currently going to school in bremen ,she's in grade 1. My wife also registered to learn the german language course in bremen which she is to start  her classes by January 2024.( That's my family's current position in germany)
 I applied for a family reunification visa  at the embassy in conakry 9 months ago. The immigration authority in bremen has also sent my wife a form to fill confirming she's aware of my application which she did. It's been 4 months since that happened and we are still yet to get a response from the immigration, what are my best options at this point?

In the family reunification process both the German embassy in Conakry and the immigration authority in Bremen are involved in processing the application. If your wife has received a form about the application, then it is a good sign that the application has at least proceeded from the first step (embassy) to the second step (immigration authority). The immigration authority will examine the case from their side and if everything is in order, they will communicate their approval to the embassy.

If the immigration authority gives their approval, then the embassy will issue you with a visa. Unfortunately, I cannot say how long it will still take. You can make inquiries with the embassy but in my experience, they most often just ask you to wait.
