Hello Abdifatah, with this question i believe you are new in Deutschland. I will say it depends on many factors. 1. Who is paying for the cost? if it's Jobcentre or Agentur, they expect you to have learn Deutsch before you can engage in that profession. 2. It depends on the city where you are living, because they rarely teach in English in smaller cities unlike Berlin, Frankfurt and Hamburg. 3, If you are paying for it by yourself, you can checkout on the internet for English speaking Truck training centres.

Goodluck to you.

Dear @Abdifatah,

Welcome to the Wefugees Community and thank you for your question.

The driving license itself might be offered in English. If you want to work as a truck driver, you need to do a so-called "Ausbildung zum Berufskraftfahrer" (apprenticeship to become a professional truck driver). Only having the truck driver's licence doesn't allow you to work with it. You can apply for a grant by Agentur für Arbeit for this apprenticeship as well.

My colleague was providing some information on this topic here.

I have some doubts that it is possible in Germany to complete the apprenticeship (since it has a schooling part) completely in English. I tried to make some further research, but unfortunately I couldn't find any interesting tipps/information yet.

I will keep my eyes open and maybe other community members can share some experience/knowledge as well.

All the best,

Meike
