At the end of 2021, I asked the Ausländeramt to remove the embargo on my Zusatzblatt to move to another state inside Germany. For the first 3 years, a refugee is not allowed to do so.

In the mid of 2022, I lost that Zusatzblatt and went to LEA, Berlin to get a new one. LEA told me as the original ausöändertamt did not update the system, officially that thing never happened. And I can not just move to Berlin.

I stayed in Berlin and I was registered even before I lost the Zusatzblatt. As I worked mainly freelance, I did not need to submit that to any of my employees (other than I am allowed to work in Germany). Again I did not depend on the social system, so I was not required to submit my Zusatzblatt anywhere.

Now, my visa renewal is nearby and I am worried about what will happen! I am registered in one state but the Ausländeramt of the same state said they are not responsible for me (as they did not issue a new Zusatzblat).

Thank you in anticipation.

Dear @MahmudulMunshi

Welcome back to the Wefugees Community and thank you for reaching out to us again.

I am really sorry to hear about your struggles now. But I really don't know much of an advice or general information except of contacting a migration counselling office or a lawyer to get some individual support in this. Maybe my colleagues or other community members can provide more information or any tipps. In any case, please don't hesitate to keep us updated and to get back to us with any other question.

All the best,

Meike
