Can I leave to another city if my Ausweis is restricted movement?

My friend who is living in another city welcomes me to live with him.My Ausweis is movement restricted.I have learnt deutsch up to level b1 and I would like like to do Ausbildung.

Hi @lydiaspenza,

I presume your Ausweis has what's called 'räumliche Beschränkung' or 'Residenzpflicht' or 'Wohnsitzuaflage' that means you are obliged to live in a certain area? If so, you can apply to have this obligation lifted. You must have secured a job, studies or Ausbildung in another region in order to move. The application is called 'Antrag auf Aufhebung der Wohnsitzauflage'.
