Hello
I have been in Germany for 3 months and 15 days
2 months in Dortmund and the rest in Koln
The problem is that we do nothing until now
still in a camp with bad food
the relief money 186 euros is vanished at the first 10 days in the month
because no one can eat the camp food
very slow procedures , you have to go 5 times in the week to see the Sozialamt officer
and he will treat you like an animal , you can't ask , just sit and wait
i have gone today from 7-12 o'clock and at last the officer refused to let me go in
they even didn't take finger-prints until now

So I thought to go to another city
and restart the procedures , of course it will not be slower or worst than here
what do you think about that ?

Thanks

Hello Khaled:
The registration can take (unfortunately) up to 3 months. During that time, you can only move around the area, where you have been registered = the city, town, county.

When you receive your 'ID', a green card with your photo, name and the address of your actual location inside, usually written in German, it says how long it is valid and on the back it tells if you have any restrictions in moving. Once you get this ID, please make sure you check this information.

In any case, German bureaucracy is extremely strict, there is no way to make it work faster. They have to deal with hundreds and hundreds of applications each day and it takes ages to make the things right, but in the end it is effective and it works.

And always always feel free to ask the people around you.

If you want to report any case of abuse, you can have a **** on this websites, this organizations can help you to get legal advice about these situations and make sure your voice is heard.
