As you know, we usually discuss issues regarding life, laws and procedures in Germany. However, with Subsidiary Protection in Germany, you probably have to apply for (work) visas (like German citizens) for the US and Canada as well. For the application you will need a passport. Maybe you check their embassies’ websites (or this official website by the US authorities) for a first research. Please keep in mind that your residence permit in Germany will expire after you have left Germany (latest after 6 months).
