Hello @Mugbe, thank you for your question in the WeFugee community. Unfortunately, I do not understand your question correctly. Lawyers are compelled to appear at the court of appeal. This means that only a lawyer can represent your interests there. You cannot do it alone. But if you have a lawyer, he or she will have your correct address so that they can send you the documents. Perhaps you can describe your request again in other words? Kind regards Gabriele

Hello,

thank you for your question on Wefugees. Since we have not received any feedback from you, but still want to help you and the community, I take your question as an opportunity to briefly explain the process after a rejected asylum application.

After the hearing, the BAMF decides on the asylum application. You will receive a letter.
This letter often arrives at the initial reception center or at the address where you are registered.
It is important that you receive and open the letter and also keep it.
On the envelope you can see a deadline. If the asylum application is rejected, you can appeal against it.
You can take legal action against the rejection, but you must do so within the deadline (Rechtsbehelfsbelehrung)

You are advised to get a lawyer right away.
A court will consider the claim and then you will be invited to a court hearing or the rejection is reconfirmed and the case is rejected.

Months can pass before a court hearing is scheduled.
Try to understand how the refusal came about. Were there misunderstandings? Try to prove your reasons for flight as best you can, or get new information. What happens if you are deported? Did the police **** for you?  Is there adequate health care in your home country? Give us other reasons that speak against your return. Be careful not to contradict your statements at the hearing. Talk to your lawyer in advance about your statements. If statements made at the hearing need to be corrected, explain why the statement was false (e.g., fatigue, anxiety, confusion).

The administrative court will decide again about your asylum procedure.

In case of a new rejection, the lawyer can file an appeal.
If the appeal is admitted. You will receive a new invitation. This invitation will be sent by post. It should be received by both you and your lawyer.
