My colleague Fardeen was once giving some information on traveling as a refugee here, maybe there are also interesting for you. Traveling to your country of origin (in your case Cameroon) can cause problems with the German authorities and you risk your refugee status. But I can not think of a reason why traveling to another African country should be an issue (as long as you are fulfilling the requirements to enter the country and stay only for a visit).
