Dear Madam/ Sir,
I have been in Germany since 2016. Both my asylum and appeal were rejected and have been issued Duldung since August 2020 without work permit. Now the local immigration have transferred my case to federal immigration center in München. They told me that München federal immigration is now responsible for my case. Recently the federal immigration in München invited me for a special appointment. In the letter ✉ they pointed out that we need to discuss if my Duldung will be renewed or not. But I heard that they usually deport people immediately after the appointment. I am afraid of the appointment. I don't know what will be the outcome of the appointment.
Please I need advice regarding this situation. I don't know if you have anyone with similar situation who have attended the appointment in federal office in München.

Please help me with information regarding this application.

Thanks in advance.

Dear @Ben,

Welcome back to Wefugees Community and thank you for reaching out to us.

I am sorry to hear that you feel so stressed. However, I think it is hardly possible to assess your situation and the immigration office's intention here - especially without knowing your story and your conditions in detail. Hiding and panicking might not be the best or a sustainable solution in general. I would highly recommend you to contact, for instance, the Refugee Council Munich or the Refugee Council Bavaria to get some individual support. I am sure the local counsellors are also familiar with the type of letter you received as well as the particular work practices of the immigration office in Munich (München). Therefore, they can give you a more profound and reliable advice and together you can decide on your perspectives and nex steps.

Nevertheless, please also don't hesitate to get back to us with any further questions.

All the best,

Meike

PS.: I saw that you opened another thread with the same question. In order to keep a better overview and information in one place, I will close that one. I hope it is okay for you.
