Dear Hosam,
Welcome to the Wefugees Community and thank you for reaching out to us.
In general, applying for asylum in Germany is currently only possible if the applicant is already on German territory. My colleague Isa explained a theoretical proceeding for people who are still residing abroad in this thread once.
Furthermore, it is hardly possible to estimate if an asylum application would have a chance to get accepted without knowing your story and your background in detail. The German government (the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees) is assessing every case individually and will make the decision based on your points and arguments you explained in the personal interview (Anhörung) especially. Here, you would need to explain credible (and if possible prove) that you are facing persecution or other serious threats (like violent conflict, war etc.) which make it impossible for you to return to and live in your country of origin in a safe way. I am afraid that persons from Egypt do not have the biggest chances in these days to get accepted as refugees in Germany. But again, this is highly dependent on your individual case and reasons to apply for asylum.
However, since you are a highly qualified person - did you think of applying for a working visa in Germany? For a first orientation in this matter (different types of visa, requirements etc.), I can recommend you to check the "Make it in Germany" website.
I hope my explanations are useful for you. In any case, please don't hesitate to get back to us with any further question.
All the best,
Meike
