Hit and run case in Germany

Good day everyone,please can any one help me for advice or any information,I was accuse of hit and run,but actually I never run,I took a photo of the car I hit and left without my car. I came back after 2 hours and left a note containing my information, my only mistake was that I did not contacted the police.The police invited me to their office after 2 week.last week the police came to my apartment and ask me to give them my driving licence of which I did.But I never receive a letter from court,but the police gave me a letter about the court decision.In the letter it is written that they confiscated and withdraw my driving licence.My question,when will I get my license back?And what step should I take?

I saw that you opened another thread on this topic a few days ago. In order to keep information in one place and to avoid confusion, I will close that one. I hope you understand. 

Unfortunately, I am not very familiar with those kind of legal questions and I tried to make some research. What I basically read was, for hit and run cases, fines can vary significantly. I am also not sure if a lawyer can help here. Maybe it makes sense to consult a free legal counselling for an estimation.
