How can I get a permanent residence permit (Niederlassungserlaubnis) holding a residence according to 19d?

How can one get a Niederlassungserlaubnis when holding only a 19d Aufenthaltserlaubnis? I am really curious.

Thanks for the reply, because I am finishing next year, I have the 3 year Ausbildungduldung status on my passport... so am wondering what was required for the granting of this 19d residence permit
