Dear Amy,

Welcome to the Wefugees Community and thank you for reaching out to us.

I am afraid that "transferring his status" to Ireland will unfortunately not be possible like that. However, as this platform and our experts are based in Germany, we are also not very familiar with Irish immigration and residence rules. I would recommend you to contact, for instance, the Irish Refugee Council, for some legal advice. For the time being you both should make sure that you avoid to get himself in more trouble, for example, while exceeding the maximum days he is allowed to stay in a country without a visa/being absent in Germany.

In any case, please also don't hesitate to get back to us with any further questions.

All the best,

Meike

P.S.: As this is a public platform, I would highly recommend not to publish any private data here. I closed the second thread you opened and in which you shared your personal email adress. I hope this is okay for you.
