Can I travel to my country of origin holding a "Beschäftigungsduldung"?

Dear Wefugees team ,

I need an advise , I am living in Germany since September 2015 and working full time for the last fours years and I got Beschäftigung Duldung this year at the Beginning which is almost 11 months I have this Beschäftigung Duldung.I have handed my passport and identity card to Ausländer Behörde. I am holding Schwerbehindertenausweis 50% . Is it possible I can travel to my home country to visit my patents. My parents are very sick and I want to see them one time in my life . I know that I will get Aufenthalt after 30 months of holding this Beschäftigung Duldung but I want to visit my parents as they are sick and I haven’t meet them for the last 6 years .

Is there any exceptions that I can get permission and travel to my home country. Also I have unbefristet Arbeit Vertrag.

Kindly advised me if there is any possibility I will be thankful for the reply .

I am very sorry to hear about the difficult health condition of your parents and I wish them all the best and very soon recovery.

I am afraid that I can not give you any positive information regarding your issue. As you may also read on the "Handbook Germany" website here, travelling outside of Germany is not possible as long as you are holding a Duldung (including a so-called "Beschäftigungsduldung" according to section 60c of the German Residence Act). Unfortunataly, I am also not aware of potential exceptions (beside pupils/students attending school trips). However, I will also link two of our experts here. Dear @mbeon-Christine or @mbeon-Rukundo, can you give any advice or add information?
