Here you can ask, answer and find questions surrounding the topic: arriving in Germany

I hope everybody is healthy and well.

I have a doubt or you can say , i need a clarification.

I am a Indian Citizen, doing Ausbildung here. I have given my passport to ABH. They have written my first name and last name as + in Ausbildungduldung.

As in my passport, last name/surname is blank.

How i can change that ?

PS : i take it as Singh as last name in Germany

Hello @Sandy

thank you for sharing your question with the Wefugees Community.

What do you exactly mean by your first name and last name written as +?

I assume you mean, that the Foreigners Office (ABH) has written your first name and last name togetter and in your passport there is a space between these two.

Anyhow, whatever the case might be, for the Foreigners Office your passport and your birth certificate are the basis, on which they write and then correct your name if they have made any mistakes while issuing your Ausbildungsduldung. So you can go to the Foreigners Office with your passport and if available take your birth certificate also with you and ask the Foreigners Office to correct your first and last name in your Ausbildungsduldung the way they are wirtten in your passport and in your birth certificate.
